I’m thinking of this as a living document. My evening and morning routines will evolve as I find what works best for me. This is what I’m doing right now:
Evening Routine
At least one hour before bedtime…
- Wash any dishes in the sink / put away any clean dishes
- Put the cell phone on the charger in the living room
- If heading out to work the next day…
- Lay out my backpack & small container for hemp seeds / lay out my bass guitar if necessary
- If working from home the next day…
- Add chia seeds and water to small container and put in fridge
- Lay out my clothes for the next day
- Lay out my exercise clothes for the next day (if it’s a workout day)
- Change into bed clothes
- Floss / Sonicare / Waterpik / Listerine
- Take a magnesium pill
- Spray the pillow w/ linen spray
- Wind-down with fun YouTube / Netflix / etc.
