Evening & Morning Routines

I’m thinking of this as a living document. My evening and morning routines will evolve as I find what works best for me. This is what I’m doing right now:

Evening Routine

At least one hour before bedtime…

  • Wash any dishes in the sink / put away any clean dishes
  • Put the cell phone on the charger in the living room
  • If heading out to work the next day…
    • Lay out my backpack & small container for hemp seeds / lay out my bass guitar if necessary
  • If working from home the next day…
    • Add chia seeds and water to small container and put in fridge
  • Lay out my clothes for the next day
  • Lay out my exercise clothes for the next day (if it’s a workout day)
  • Change into bed clothes
  • Floss / Sonicare / Waterpik / Listerine
  • Take a magnesium pill
  • Spray the pillow w/ linen spray
  • Wind-down with fun YouTube / Netflix / etc.
