What I Love To Do (vol. 1)

Here’s what I love to do:

  • I love to play the trombone. I love the sounds that I’m able to make on the instrument. I love the physical feeling I get playing the instrument. I feel it inside my chest. I love to play the trombone well. I love the feeling that I get when I am playing well and my embouchure is in shape.
  • I love to collaborate. I love that exchange of creative energy.
  • I love to improvise.
  • I love to teach myself to play instruments. I love the act of breaking things down and figuring things out.
  • I love to make things. I love the feeling of accomplishment that comes from finishing something and putting that thing out into the world for people to see.
  • I love playing a real acoustic piano. Even if it’s not the greatest of instruments there’s something about the vibration of the sound that can’t be reproduced with an electric keyboard.

I want to do more of these things.
